Science
You may find variety of plants around you. Observe them carefully. Collect sample sample of the plants which :-
· Grow in open Sun and under the shade of a tree
· Grow in decaying matter
· Climb over other plants
· Show symbiotic relationship
· Compare all thease plants with each other. Paste their dried leaves (or pictures) in a scrapbook. Tabulate their characteristics feature (such as colour, size of leaves, mode of nutrition etc.)
· Collect at least 10 different types of seeds, write their names and colour.
· Case study of water pollution in your locality. The report should include :-
· Area
· Reason for water pollution
· Controlling measures
· Learn the question answers (Exersise + Extra Questions) of Ch. Heat
· Read Ch. Motion and Time -- Find and write the back questions ansewer in separate notebook
· Make a project on contribution of 10 scientist
· Make all the extra questions of Ch: Motion and Time, Write the answers in separate notebook
· Note maximum and minimum temperature and weather report from 16th May to 30th June
· Read the Chapter –Acid, Bases and Salts and try to find out at least 25 extra questions
· Collect sample of various type of clothes. Try to identify them and categorize them into natural and artificial fiber and paste them in your scrap book
· Collect picture of 20 eatables, which contain acid
· Constrct a soda-acid fere extinguisher
· Make a chart of human digestive system (fig. 2.2) (Roll No. 1 to 8)
· Make a model of different type of teeth (fig. 2.3) (Roll No. 9 to 24)
· Make a chart of Land breeze and see breeze (fig. 4.11) (Roll No. 25 to 32)
· Make a model to show layers of soil (fig. 9.2) (Roll No. 33 to 40)
· Make a chart of soil profile (fig. 9.3) (Roll No. 41 to Last Roll No.)

B) If it costs Re 1 to break a chain and Rs. 2 to weld it back, what is the least cost to join the following 6 chaint to form a long chain?

Starting with any counting number, if it is even divide it by 2, if it is odd, multiply it by 3 and add 1 to it. Write down the result on a piece of paper. Repeat this process with the number you have written down:-
For example starting with 7, which is odd, multiply it by 3 and add 1 to obtain 22, which is even, now divide it by 2, multiply the odd number 11 by 3 and add 1 to it and so on. If you continue this often enough, what interesting result do you observe?
Repeat the procedures starting with different counting number. Do you get the same result each time?
