CLASS  -  III

ENGLISH

1.       Write  two  words  starting  from  A  to Z.

2.       Read   the  newspaper  daily  and  underline  the  proper  noun  and  common  noun  with  different  colours.

3.       Read  the  chapters  from  1  to  15  from  Marigold book.  Underline  the difficult  words  and  find  out  their  meanings  also.

4.        Write  a  paragraph  on  any  1 topic  :-

(a)     How  I  spent  my  summer  holidays ?

(b)     How  can  we conserve  our  water  resources ?

(c)     The  person  I like  the most.

5.       Do  all  the  exercises  (in  the book)  related  to  verbs,  nouns,  adjectives, propositions,  number  an d gender.

EVS

1.       Read  chapters – 3,4,5,6.  Underline  the difficult  words  and  write  their  meanings.  Also  make  sentences  using  those  words.

2.        On  chart  paper,  draw  pictures of ant two animals that live in our house invited  and uninvited. Write  their  names below the  pictures.

3.       In your  notebook,  Draw  pictures  of  5  containers which  are  used  for storing  water   in your house.  Write  their names  as  well.

4.       Name  6  vehicles  and  write what  they  are used  for.  Draw  and  colour  it in your  notebooks.

5.       Write a short note on UNICEF or a NGO near your area or place. (Chapter -3)

6.       What do you want to be when you grow up? Paste picture and write a paragraph. (Ch-4)

7.       Cut pictures from the newspaper about any five sportspersons and write the game they belong to. (Ch-4)

MATHS

1.       Learn  and  write  the tables  from  2 to 20  (separate  copy).

2.       Revise  the following  :-

Number  names, Place  value, Expanded  form, Ascending  order  and  descending  order, Before/ after/ between

3.       Read,  underline  the difficult  words  and write down  their  meanings  in book only (chapter 1,2,3,4,5)

4.       Do  the  exercises  given in book (chapter1,2,3,4,5)

5.       Learn  the  months  names  and   days  of the  week.

6.       Do  2 word  problems  daily  each  on addition, subtraction and multiplication (separate  copy).

Projects :-

7.       Draw  various  shapes  on a chart  paper  and  write  their  names also.

8.       Using  various  shapes  make  project  on any 1 topic:-

(a)     House

(b)     Letter  box

(c)     Clock  showing  any  time

(d)     Simple  box

9.        Make  a clock  showing  any  time.
